The vagueries of a yachtsman's career invariably, with age, leads us to one day build, or have a boat built, I
did not escape this opportunity and supervised the entire construction of a 55 foot catamaran. We sailed her to
the Caribbean where we set her up as a charter boat and sold her.

ANGIE was a unique experience, probably the first boat of that capacity to have all her domestic energy provided by extensive
areas of solar panels. We had fridge, freezer, watermaker, PC for emails and viewing DVDs, washing machine plus
ample lighting and no generator. A very conclusive experience indeed.
